Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly analytical and collaborative Demand Planner to join our team, with a focus on short life-cycle dairy products such as milk and ESL (Extended Shelf Life) items. This role is essential in aligning supply and demand through data-driven forecasting to support operational planning and business growth.

The ideal candidate will have 3–5+ years of experience in demand planning within the dairy or perishable goods industry, with a strong understanding of the challenges in managing fast-moving, short shelf-life products. This role is key to our S&OP/IBP processes, contributing to high-quality forecasting, scenario planning, long-range projections, and cross-functional alignment with Sales, Marketing, and Operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain accurate demand forecasts at the SKU and customer level, factoring in seasonality, promotions, and new product introductions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams—including Sales, Marketing, Supply Planning, and Inventory Management—to ensure demand signals are clearly understood and used for operational planning.
• Actively support the S&OP/IBP process by providing forecast insights, identifying demand risks and opportunities, and aligning on consensus plans.
• Monitor and report forecast accuracy (e.g., MAPE, bias), identifying root causes of variance and implementing corrective actions.
• Leverage ERP and forecasting tools such as Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 and Forecast Pro to manage demand planning activities. Experience with similar platforms like SAP, Oracle, Kinaxis, or Blue Yonder is a plus.
• Use forecasting tools and ERP systems to manage forecast inputs and generate reporting for internal stakeholders.
• Proactively identify risks and opportunities in the forecast, inventory positions, and supply chain.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Statistics, Economics, or a related field; advanced degree is a plus.
• 3–5+ years of experience in demand planning, forecasting, or supply chain roles; experience in the dairy or perishable CPG industry strongly preferred.
• Working knowledge of S&OP or IBP processes and how demand planning integrates with broader business planning cycles.
• Strong analytical and data modeling skills, with a track record of improving forecast accuracy and reducing inventory risk.
• Experience with forecasting software/tools (e.g., Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012, Forecast Pro, SAP, Oracle, Kinaxis, Blue Yonder, or similar).
• Strong collaboration and communication skills; able to influence cross-functional stakeholders.
• Awareness of inventory optimization concepts, supply planning principles, and S&OP/IBP processes.
• Comfortable in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with tight timelines and perishable products.

Hours and Pay:

Position is a straight 5-day week, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM, and will be based at our facility in Little Chute, WI. We offer a competitive base pay rate and a comprehensive benefits package for full-time employees.
