Legal Assistant/Paralegal

We are seeking a detail-oriented Legal Assistant with experience in intellectual property law to support multiple attorneys. This role requires strong knowledge of patent and trademark procedures and the ability to manage a wide range of legal administrative tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive administrative support to multiple attorneys

• Prepare, review, and electronically file patent and trademark documents with the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO)

• Draft and format legal documents and responses

• Organize and maintain physical and electronic legal files

• Manage docket deadlines and monitor case progress

• Conduct preliminary patent and trademark searches

• Assist with billing, time entry, and other administrative tasks as needed

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent required

• Prior legal administrative experience, preferably in intellectual property

• Strong understanding of patent and trademark processes

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Exceptional attention to detail and organizational abilities

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
