Role: RNG General Manager

Location: Bloomington, CA

Schedule: Full-time, on-site Monday - Friday

Salary: $180,000 - $190,000 base salary + annual performance bonus + relocation assistance

Overview

This is a senior leadership role responsible for overseeing daily operations at a RNG site and acting as the Owner’s Representative to a third-party operations provider. The General Manager plays a key role in driving financial performance, ensuring operational compliance, managing vendor relationships, and supporting overall site performance. This position requires strong cross-functional collaboration and the ability to lead through influence.

Key Responsibilities

• Act as the Owner’s Representative to the third-party operations team
• Lead financial performance of the facility, including full P&L ownership
• Support strategy, contract oversight, and day-to-day operational decision-making
• Ensure site compliance with all permits, safety regulations, and environmental standards
• Collaborate with third-party staff to identify areas for continuous improvement
• Help foster a strong culture of safety, accountability, and operational excellence
• Manage key vendor relationships and performance metrics

Preferred Background & Skills

• Experience in highly regulated or industrial environments such as natural gas, biotech, waste management, or semiconductors
• Prior leadership experience running a facility or business unit
• Familiarity with manufacturing processes and safety compliance
• Strong financial acumen with experience managing budgets and owning P&L
• Comfortable working with third-party operators or vendor-managed sites
• Skilled communicator with the ability to build trust and lead through collaboration
• Strategic, solutions-oriented thinker with a hands-on approach
